Brilliant Storytelling at Geneva Airport

Brilliant Storytelling at Geneva Airport

Restau_2_

Straggling through Geneva International Airport late in the evening I wasn't expecting to see a great example of storytelling in use.  But then I spotted the Montreux Jazz Cafe on the arrivals level.  Not what you expect from an airport cafe operation.

Brilliantly leveraging the ultra cool Montreux Jazz Festival which is currently going on just a few miles up the lake, the cafe is an oasis of sophistication in the busy terminal.

The menus make great use of visual storytelling.

Record

Bright yellow and shaped like vinyl LPs they hark back to the festivals founding in the late 1960s.  They are clearly a huge hit with the diners – as no sooner have they taken your order, they are whisked away.  They obviously lose lots of them!
