Noodles made from wood-pulp!

It’s hard to know whether to be horrified, or really impressed.  We’ve settled for really impressed

Japanese textile company Okimenshi produces a fibre from tree pulp that they have started to spin into edible noodles.  The brand are marketing them as a healthier alternative to wheat noodles, on the basis that they are both gluten-free and low calorie.

What an amazing example of lateral thinking.
